I’m gonna celebrate my one year anniversary on gmarket soon~
I’ve back-trekked my orders and my first order was on 28th Oct! Through this one year, i’ve made almost 20 orders from gmarket, both in Singapore and when I was in Korea.. All my friends think i’m addicted to online shopping (which is only gmarket) but oh wells~ i’m usually happy with all my buys!
I’ve decided to dedicate a post to share about my top buys in gmarket! (in no particular order)
1. Korean CDs/DVDs
They are really cheap compared to retail prices in your local music stores.
For example, SHINee’s Hello album cause 12,500W (S$15; exchange rate 1,000w = S$1.20)
In local stores like HMV or CD-rama, it would cost at least $21-$23
So, by buying from gmarket, you can save like more than 30%.
MOREOVER, some sellers would give posters and wallet photo cards as free gift! you know, receiving the random photo cards is always the HIGHLIGHT of opening the boxes containing these albums because I will always make ‘REQUESTS’ under the ‘Memo to Seller’ Section~ By the way, these photo cards are actually a gift from the seller, not the ‘official’ ones which some albums have..
Sometimes, they fulfill my requests, sometimes they don’t. But when they do, you will feel so so so happy!

Synarra – It is stated that the albums bought here will contribute to the charts.
** When I purchased B2ST Fact & Fiction Photobook, I requested for yoseob’s photo card and I got it =D
** I believe they are one of the giants in Korea for selling CDs.. Usually, many fan sign events are done by them.. The other one is hottracks but I don’t think they are on gmarket yet.

2. Korean Cosmetics
The cosmetics are so so so so much cheaper than local retail prices! However, not many brands are eligible for international shipping. In the past, Etude House was eligible for international shipping but they have stopped the service (probably due to the mega savings people can get if they buy online).
For now, here are the other brands I recommend! (There’s a slight repeat from my previous post)
It’s Skin – 2PM & Nichkhun’s endorsed brand.
I really like the macaroon lip balm~ the packaging is ultra cute.
Etude House – Sandara endorsed
(if your country is eligible. You have to check the list of country after putting the item in your shopping cart.
Tony Moly – Song Joong Ki endorsed
Holika Holika – CN Blue endorsed.
Baviphat – FT Island endorsed
They have really cute packaging too~ a little similar to Tony Moly’s packaging
Laneige
the actual seller doesn’t sell but there are many ‘agents’ that sell their products
Just do a search for laneige and you will find many sellers.
~ Tip: If you don’t mind getting sample sizes, they are up to 50% cheaper.
For example, the water sleeping pack (80ml) costs 19,500W (S$24) http://english.gmarket.co.kr/challenge/neo_goods/goods.asp?goodscode=174317587&pos_shop_cd=EN&pos_class_cd=90000001&pos_class_kind=T&keyword_order=laneige+sleeping, but if you get sample sizes (20ml*4) or (4ml*20), they cost only 9,500W (S$12)

3. Bags
The bags in g market have so so so so so so so many designs and the prices are often very affordable! I myself bought like more than 5 bags already =p However, I would still say.. you pay for what you get. The material of the bag is true to its price but for me i’m okay to sacrifice the quality of the bag since I go for variety since I hardly use a bag for more than a year =p

4. Hair Accessories
The hair accessories are really affordable here~~ They have like simple hairbands to those flowery/knited types commonly seen on drama, espc my princess! I’m sure some hairbands will look a little familiar =p

5. Clothes
Sorry that I usually don’t take photos of clothes because it is quite a hassle to hang it, otherwise it wouldn’t look nice folded.. but here are some shops that I have bought items from~

which country are you from?
usually EMS is quite safe. none of my parcels have gone missing so far.
yep all the albums are original. you can choose to buy from synarra (its quite a big company in korea)
